Rihanna will star in the upcoming DreamWorks Animation film Happy Smekday!, based on Adam Rex's book The True Meaning of Smekday.
RihRih will lend her voice to the film along with The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons. Directed by Tim Johnson (Antz, Over the Hedge) and the studio hopes to release in the fourth quarter of 2014.
The film focuses on a friendly alien race that invades Earth to hide from their enemy. When one alien informs the enemies of their whereabouts, he goes on the run with a teenage girl.
