Chris Brown pleads with Australia for entry: 'I want to come raise ...

Australia is denying Chris Brown entry into the country due to his 2009 widely publicized domestic violence incident with Rihanna.

Australian authorities have formally warned Brown, who is scheduled to play four big shows in the country in December, that they intend to consider refusing his visa application, Immigration Minister Peter Dutton said in a statement Sunday.

The singer is now publicly arguing that he wants to come to Australia be able to raise awareness for domestic violence.

“The youth don’t listen to parents nor do they listen to PSA’s. The power that we have as Entertainers can change lives,” Brown tweeted.

He went on, “My life mistakes should be a wake up call for everyone. Showing the world that mistakes don’t define you. Trying to prevent spousal abuse.”
