International superstars Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna and Shakira will perform during the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Azerbaijan 2012, the first time they will have appeared in the country.
Jennifer Lopez will perform at the Opening Ceremony in Baku, on 22 September. Rihanna will do likewise during the quarter-final match on 5 October at 19:30 local time at the Tofig Bahramov, while Shakira will perform on 13 October at 19:30 local time during the final match of the tournament at the same venue.
The tournament will take place in Baku and Lankaran from 22 September-13 October. Participating teams are Azerbaijan, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, China PR, Gambia, Ghana, Japan, Korea DPR, Mexico, New Zealand, Nigeria, Uruguay, and USA. The remaining two teams from Europe will be determined between 26-29 June.
Match tickets can be purchased from 10 July, following the 6 July Official Draw Ceremony, which will take place at the International Mugam Centre in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The performances will be organized by the Local Organizing Committee of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Azerbaijan 2012.
